From the Remunculaceae family, this perennial plant with fasciculate and swollen roots, glabrous.
The leaves are basal, long petiolate and with a rounded blade. Solitary, terminal flowers, 2 to 4.5cm large and have numerous bright yellow petals (6 to 8).
They exist in humid places such as coastal areas and are rare in Orania. Spring flowering.
