Mirrors like chests and shelves, mirrors also occupy an important place in traditional furniture. They symbolize good luck and attract good to the face which it reflects and wards off evil.
There are two types of mirror: one in openwork painted wood on which floral motifs are associated with bright tones such as green, red and yellow; the other in openwork wood inlaid with floral and geometric motifs with the particularity of the mirror frame which takes the form of a portico or an arcade between two colonnades.
