Algae Gymnogongrus crenulatus

The thallus is dark red in color and measures 2 to 5 cm high. The branching is irregular, and abundant at the top of the thallus. The base of it is cylindrical. All of the branches flatten into strips. The algae lives under rocks in infra-coastal biotopes.
