One of the most famous Algerian poets. A centenarian, he devoted 80 years of his life to singing the prophet (QSSL), to the point that his entire work seems to be exclusively devoted to him. He marked the mystical and religious life of Dahra (west). Too poor to undertake the pilgrimage, he had the extraordinary compensation of seeing the prophet, the sole object of his love, ninety-nine times in his dream. Later, he made an oath that the Chosen One of God (QSSL) even granted him the favor of coming to see him in reality 'fel-yaqda lis fel-mnam' (in reality and not in a dream) he affirmed in a poem of two hundred verses which began with 'ya taj el-anbya el-kram' (crown of the noble prophets).
