Recovery of National Sovereignty on Algerian radio and television RTA
On October 28, 1962, the national sovereignty of Algerian radio and television was recovered. The French authorities, hoping to hinder the continuity of broadcasting, ordered their employees to leave the company. However, Algeria was able to continue broadcasting its programs and thus succeeded in meeting a great challenge.
October 28, 1962 constitutes a decisive turning point in the process relating to the achievement of the recovery of national sovereignty.
Also, it is the symbol of a great desire to challenge and to free oneself as it testifies to the confidence placed in Algerian skills. These skills which succeeded in raising the national standard and deploying it in the wind on the building of the institution of Algerian radio and television.
