Numidian Kings Ptolemy (23-40 AD)
Only son of Juba II and Cleopatra Selene, he succeeded his father in the year 23 AD and was the last Numidian king. Ptolemy was killed by Emperor Gaius Caesar, known as Caligula, who seized his fortune and his slaves, leading to the Moorish Revolt under the command of Ptolemy's freedman "Aedemon". This revolt lasted more than three years.
