World Teachers' Day

- Continue to show consideration to the teacher who has the merit of educating and preparing future generations.
- Value and highlight the importance of the role of the educator in the promotion and development of society.
- Raise public awareness of the immense work that educators carry out for the dignity and development of the country.
The World Declaration on Education for All
The World Declaration on Education for All, adopted by the World Conference on Education for All, in Thailand in March 1990, sets the objective of meeting basic educational needs. According to the declaration, everyone – child, adolescent or adult – must be able to benefit from training designed to meet their basic educational needs. These needs concern both the essential learning tools (reading, writing, oral expression, calculation, problem solving) and the fundamental educational content (knowledge, skills, values, attitudes) that human beings need to survive, to develop all their faculties, to live and work with dignity, to participate fully in development, to improve the quality of their existence, to make informed decisions and to continue learning.
