Achievements
The Annaba theater was created at the end of the 19th century (1890-1899). A communal theater, it was destroyed during the Second World War in 1942. It was inaugurated in its current state on June 1, 1954 and was nationalized after independence then placed under the aegis of the Algerian national theater. Its capacity is 1500 places. Generally speaking, the T.R.A participates in cultural, political, social and spiritual life at the local and national level. Regarding the main activity, the Annaba regional theater has produced nearly forty plays since independence.
