The city of Saida is located in the west of Algeria, nestled at an altitude of 800 meters on the threshold of the highlands. It is limited to the north by the wilaya of Oran and Mascara, to the south by the wilaya of El Bayadh and Naâma, to the west by the wilaya of Sidi Bel Abbès and to the east by the wilaya of Tiaret. It covers an area of ​​6,631 km2 and is home to a dense and young population of around 300,000 inhabitants. Considered a strategic and industrial zone, it constitutes a transit point leading to the Sahara. Known for its natural source of mineral water which is good for digestion and recommended in cases of kidney infections, it has several preventive and therapeutic spas.
