Petunia
Species of herbaceous and perennial plant, from the Solanaceae family. Petunias are native to tropical regions of South America.
The plant can reach up to 1 meter high. The leaves are alternate, the flowers are solitary and quite brightly colored: purple, red, pink or white.
Petunias, which include around twenty species, are grown in Algeria to decorate houses and public gardens. There are an average of 20 species for this plant.
