National Day of Persons with Disabilities
As part of the celebration of the National Day of Persons with Disabilities which coincides with March 14 of each year, Algérie Poste issued, Friday March 14, 2014, one (01) commemorative postage stamp with a face value of 15.00 DA, with the theme “March 14, National Day of Persons with Disabilities”. The latter represented by an allegorical drawing symbolizing the integration and insertion of this category of people and executed by a talented painter, in this case: Mr. Ali KERBOUCHE.
The advance sale of the stamp dedicated to disabled people took place on Friday 14 and yesterday, Saturday 15 March 2014 in the 48 Main Post Offices located in the capitals of the wilayas.
The general sale, for its part, is scheduled for today, Sunday March 16, 2014 across all post offices.
The postage stamp in question will also be accompanied by a philatelic document. This is one (01) 1st day envelope at 07.00 DA, franked at 15.00 DA and with illustrated first day postmark.
As a reminder, this day is an opportunity to remember an important segment of society for which the State spares no effort to improve their living and working conditions and guarantees real care, thus allowing the integration of this category of people on a social and economic level.
