This dance is practiced in Zaouîas and mausoleums and has spread according to Sufi brotherhoods such as (Kadiria, Tidjania and Rahmania). It presents itself as circles of Dhikr (praises to God and his prophet), adapting movements, Sufi poetry and dance, where we find most of the collected poems recited from Dhikr exhorting the worship and obedience of Allah the Almighty and his prophet Mohamed.
In this dance, percussion instruments are used, such as the Def and the Tara, which provide dynamism and vitality when performing movements by forming two parallel rows.
