1- The public service of vocational training and education includes initial training, continuing vocational training and vocational education. It is a component of the national education and training system.
2- It aims:
The acquisition of practical qualifications and specific knowledge necessary for the exercise of a profession, in all areas of economic activity,
-Meeting the needs of the job market,
-Preparation for higher professional training as an extension of the sector followed,
-The development and retraining of workers,
-The integration, reintegration and professional mobility of workers,
-Adaptation of workers’ capabilities to changes in technology and professions,
-Social and professional promotion of workers,
-The promotion of particular categories of the population, with a view to their integration into active life.
3- It has a vast network of professional training and education establishments and structures spread throughout the national territory, namely:
-Specialized national professional training institutes (INSFP)
-Professional education institutes (IEP)
-Vocational training and apprenticeship centers (CFPA)
-Specialized vocational training and apprenticeship centers for people with physical disabilities (CFPA HP)
-Pedagogical engineering establishments
-Establishments supporting professional training and education activities
4- Initial training and continuing training actions take place through different training modes and systems, in various specialties and qualification levels.
5- Diploma training courses in levels 01 to 05 (specialized worker, qualified worker, highly qualified worker, technician and higher technician) are awarded state diplomas.
6- Qualifying training courses are certified by a certificate or certificate of qualification.
