On these most often enchanting sites, the public authorities have initiated vast programs to create comfortable thermal spas which welcome thousands of spa guests and summer visitors each year.
Hammam Essalihine (Khenchela): "aquae flavianae" in the Roman era, 'hot fountain' in the colonial era is a Roman bath which has existed for 2000 years, it is located in the commune of El Hamma 07 KM from Khenchela, in a mountainous and forest region, which allows it to be a tourist and therapeutic site par excellence.
It is characterized by the temperature of its waters which is around 70°C, its chemical composition gives it therapeutic properties indicated for rheumatic, respiratory and dermatological diseases.
Also this spa resort has forty (40) thermal bath cabins, five (05) hot water swimming pools and welcomes up to 700,000 visitors annually.
