Regional theater - Tizi Ouzou
Built in 1972 and inaugurated as a municipal theater, this cultural institution located in the city center of Tizi-Ouzou, was managed by the municipality then transferred to the culture department by decree No. 680 of November 22, 2005.
This architectural jewel inaugurated in November 2010 after having been completely renovated and adapted to new international standards, it has a room composed of an orchestra of 648 seats, a balcony of 218 seats, for a total of 866 seats, a rectangular stage with an area of 136 m², a room for costumes and set accessories, a carpentry and set workshop, a recording studio, a dance room, a dressing room, an exhibition hall, a management room and a lounge of honor.
Like the regional theaters of other wilayas, it is responsible for the production and promotion of cultural and artistic activities.
