Physical violence is an old phenomenon in societies, generating harmful consequences both on the community. It has evolved considerably in different forms and has diversified. Some people think that violence consists only of physical violence; but it takes several other forms even harder than blows and more difficult to heal than bodily wounds.
Violence against children:
The child is exposed to a lot of physical and verbal violence; he thus lives in fear and turmoil, and suffers from several psychological illnesses affecting his life and his future.
Violence against women:
Women are the most subject to violence, because habits and customs force them to remain silent in the face of different forms of violence to protect and preserve their family.

Different forms of violence
1. physical violence:
It is the best known and most visible form of violence. It manifests itself in blows and acts giving rise to bodily harm.
2. sexual violence:
In this form of violence, the person is forced to perform, without any consent, a sexual act. It may not necessarily manifest itself in full intercourse, but exposes the victim to all types of violation.
3. psychological violence:
It is one of the forms that has significant consequences on the person. It manifests itself through words or actions that provoke a feeling of inferiority in others.
4. Psychological violence:
These are threats, comments or vile behavior aimed at controlling the attitude of others, while provoking fear and anxiety in them.
5. spiritual violence:
It is when a person exploits another person through their spiritual or religious beliefs to direct them and dominate their attitude. It is also the denigration of his religious beliefs or the attempt to force him to change his faith or prevent him from exercising their cults and religious beliefs.
6. Verbal abuse:
It is one of the most widespread forms of violence, whether the perpetrator is aware of it or not. These are written insults or hurtful remarks towards others.
7. Material violence:
This form of violence is visible when a person disposes of the material income of another person without their consent or misuses it.
8. Negligence:
It is one of the worst forms of violence because it occurs without the perpetrator realizing it. Its consequences are harmful to the psychological state of the individual, especially if he or she has suffered from it since childhood. Neglect is considered abuse when the person responsible for caring for someone or providing for their needs neglects or outright shirks their obligations.
