3rd African Youth Games
Algeria is preparing to host a major celebration dedicated to African youth, in this case the 3rd edition of the African Youth Games. They are organized by the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ACNOA).
It is an international multi-sport competition which takes place every 4 years scheduled for the summer of 2018, from the 18th to the 28th and will bring together more than 3000 athletes aged between 15 and 18 and 1000 officials representing the 54 African countries who will compete in 28 sporting disciplines.
This highly anticipated continental meeting constitutes a catalyst for sporting and educational initiatives for African youth and a strong moment for them because it will allow them to experience an atmosphere of conviviality, fraternity, friendship, solidarity, mutual respect and a mix of cultures.
It will also be an opportunity to celebrate, promote and preserve Olympic values based on fair play, sporting ethics and respect for one's opponent.
