Mustapha BEN BOULAÏD, was born on February 5, 1917 in Arris from a wealthy family, nourished by Islamic values, lived among peasants, he noted the suffering and pain of his compatriots and the deplorable conditions of their life, joined in 1946 the (MTLD) the Movement for the Triumph of Democratic Liberties then the OS, took charge of ammunition and collection weapons, contributed March 23, 1954 to the creation of (CRUA) Revolutionary Committee of Unity and Action in which he played a very important role, thus he devoted himself with ardor to the supply and accommodation of the Mujahideen, in June 1954, participated in the meeting of the "22", was designated responsible in the Aurès region, was a member in the committee of six (06), led the attacks of November 1st in his region, he was arrested in February 1955, managed to escape and join the post of commander of the Aurès region, fell in battle on March 22, 1956.
