Women today have become a very active element outside of their traditional role in society, more and more women are launching into entrepreneurship and the business world. However, the female breakthrough remains timid compared to the male gender. The National Agency for Microcredit Management is present at the national level with 49 regional agencies, two agencies in the capital, as well as cells located in the daïras.

The Agency provides support, advice, technical assistance as well as free support to entrepreneurs during the realization of their ideas, it grants an interest-free bank loan, offers an advance of 29% and without interest of the total cost of the project in a mode called "triangular financing". It also participates with a financing rate of up to 100% and without interest for projects that exceed one hundred thousand Algerian dinars (100,000 DA), the value of the loan can reach twenty-five thousand Algerian dinars (25,000 DA) for projects created in the great south with a repayment period of three years (03).
