Circular economy
As part of the promotion of waste recovery, recycling and valorization activities in synergy with the new strategic vision of the sector, we propose this theme in popularization towards the citizen, inviting them to change their behavior, particularly their mode of consumption, optimizing resources in order to develop the culture of recovery, reuse and valorization.
The circular economy designates an economic concept which is part of the framework of sustainable development and whose objective is to produce goods and services while limiting the consumption and waste of raw materials, water and energy sources. It is about deploying a new economy, circular and no longer linear, based on the principle of “closing the life cycle” of products, services, waste, materials, water and energy.
The circular economy brings together activities already well anchored in the territories. It is above all a mobilizing concept which allows us to rethink our modes of production and consumption and which encompasses already well-developed activities (reuse, recycling, etc.) and more recent approaches (industrial ecology, eco-design).
