It bears the name of the Scholar Sheikh Abdelhamid Ibn Badis and is an architectural jewel that honors the city of Oran. Built on an area of ​​43,516 m2 in Haï Djamel Eddine to the east of the city, the Great Mosque of Oran is considered the second largest mosque in Algeria after that of Algiers (Djamâa El Djazair).
It can accommodate up to 25,000 people and has a 460-seat conference room, a large courtyard, two basement car parks as well as shops, exhibition spaces and others.
