Kamardine Krim. Born in 1952, in the heart of the capital, died in 2020. He took the entrance exam to the School of Fine Arts in 1969. His student career will be marked by the obtaining of two prizes, one North African and the other international. The artist, whose modesty is matched only by his talent, contributed to enriching Algerian cultural heritage. His miniatures are visible at the Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions of Algiers, the Etienne-Dinet Museum of Boussaâda and the Ain Témouchent Museum.

In 1970, he joined the National Pedagogical Institute as an illustrator and calligrapher.
He is also active in teaching, decoration and graphics. Which confirms his talent as an artist and his distinguished touch in the field of visual communication and allegory. The Algerian philatelic album collects the largest number of postage stamps produced by this painter since his first issue on the occasion of the Munich 1972 Olympic Games. His last stamp was issued in 2021 with the theme “Algerian Consumer”.
