Hocine Ait Ahmed Stadium
Located in Boukhalfa, wilaya of Tizi Ouzou, this multi-sport stadium has a capacity of 30,000 seats. It includes a main pitch made to FIFA specifications (105 x 68 meters), a secondary synthetic turf pitch (105 x 68 meters), and an athletics stadium with a capacity of 6,500 seats.
The stadium includes eight elevators, six freight elevators, a 119-seat conference room, a press room and two media studios. It also contains changing rooms for players, 12 offices, as well as locker rooms and offices for referees.
In addition to public toilets for men, women, and people with reduced mobility, it also has facilities for medical staff and VIPs. The stadium is equipped with parking lots and a helicopter landing zone, used for emergencies and official delegations.
President Abdelmadjid Tebboune inaugurated this sports complex, named in honor of the late 'Hocine Ait Ahmed', one of the leading figures of the National Movement and the November Revolution, on July 10, 2024.
