The port of El Aouana, in the wilaya of Jijel, constitutes an advanced model of multifunctional maritime infrastructure.
It combines maritime fishing and tourist pleasure activities, as part of a national vision aimed at supporting the local economy by promoting coastal and tourist resources.
The port covers an area divided between 5 hectares of land and 8 hectares of water, which makes it a maritime installation with a considerable reception capacity, including:

Deep sea fishing boats: 5 units
Sardine fishing boats: 15 units
Boats for small trades: 86 units
Pleasure craft: 176 units
Sailing pleasure craft: 5 units
Pleasure craft (motor): 171 units
The port is also equipped with protective structures, including:
A 366 meter west dike
A dike is 348 meters
Two sandbreakers (one of 25 m and a second of 20 m)
