Arab Post Day 2025
On the occasion of the celebration of Arab Post Day, which coincides with August 3, 2025, and under the slogan “Towards more innovative postal services”, the postal institutions of the Arab countries members of the League of Arab States are issuing a unified postal stamp, bearing the winning design of the competition organized especially for this event. This unified Arab stamp was won by Iraq, through the work of designer Assem Mohamed Kamel, who embodies the symbolism of this major Arab event.
This unified stamp for the year 2025 represents the common Arab vision aimed at building a postal future based on innovation and digital evolution. It also aims to highlight the central and historical role that the postal sector plays in the development and strengthening of communication within societies, while affirming its capacity to adapt to rapid technological transformations within the framework of the knowledge economy and the overall digital transition.
The design of the stamp is made up of several symbolic elements rich in meaning:
An outstretched human arm: symbolizes the beginnings of manual mail, representing the journey of Arab man in building communication bridges since Antiquity, through the exchange of letters and messages.
A futuristic robotic arm: illustrates the modern era and embodies the digital transformation of the postal sector, particularly in the areas of automation, artificial intelligence and intelligent delivery.
Envelopes in motion: express the very essence of the postal service, evoking the memory of letters that have carried, through the ages, the human voice, thought and emotions.
Gradients of blue and electronic lines: suggest the world of technology and innovation, while evoking the reliability and precision of postal services in the digital age.
A QR code integrated into the design: embodies the digital transformation of stamps, allowing access to a digital version of the winning stamp selected by the specialized technical committee.
Through this common Arab postal stamp, and under the slogan “Towards more innovative postal services”, Arab countries express their ambitious vision of a modern postal sector, combining authenticity and modernity, making the stamp a cultural vector, a communication tool and a symbol of Arab integration in the era of digital transformation.
