Osaka 2025 International Exhibition
Since independence, Algeria has always been committed to
take part in the biggest international events.
She thus made her debut on the exhibition scene
world by participating in Expo Montreal 1967 and Expo
Osaka 1970.
These first experiences allowed a young state
sovereign to promote its commercial exchanges,
promote its cultural heritage, and forge direct links
with the other participating nations.
After an absence of 22 years, Algeria has regained its place in
these major events by taking part in Expo Seville 1992
then at Expo Lisbon 1998. However, it was again
withdrawn from Expo Hannover 2000 and Expo Aichi 2005,
limiting to a symbolic presence through shows
artistic activities offered for 21 days, without having
national flag.
A turning point took place from Expo Zaragoza 2008. Strong
of his growing experience and his membership in the Bureau
International Exhibitions (BIE) in 1997, Algeria tackles
a new stage marked by regular participation
and structured at all international exhibitions, namely:
