Bouhezza cheese
it is part of the range of authentic traditional food products in Algeria. It is produced in the Aurès region, particularly in the wilaya of Oum El Bouaghi.
This cheese is made by hand from natural milk (sheep, goat or cow) and matured using inherited local methods, which give it a distinctive taste and pronounced flavor, varying depending on the length of maturation and the possible addition of local ingredients such as salt, herbs or chili pepper.
It also obtained the Quality Label, in accordance with the ministerial decree of August 30, 2020, under the geographical name “Bouhezza Cheese”.
This product stands out for its great conservation and transport capacity, which makes it particularly suitable for marketing abroad, particularly in markets that value authentic products from a rich culinary heritage.
