Mobilization and Awareness during the Glorious Revolution
The Political Commissioner played a key role in raising awareness and mobilizing the population during the Glorious Revolution. He held meetings in villages, hamlets and large cities to inform citizens about the revolution and convey the instructions issued by the revolutionary command.
The political commissar was also responsible for raising awareness among the people and denouncing the lies of the French colonial authorities who sought to separate the National Liberation Army from its people, and to put pressure on the revolution. Likewise, the Political Commissioner worked to guide the population so that it remained united with the revolution while encouraging it to collect precise information on the enemy and its agents. His mission was also to motivate young Algerians to join the army and the national liberation front in order to achieve the expected objective, victory and the recovery of national sovereignty.
