Gara Djebilet mining railway line
Celebrates the inauguration of the Western mining railway line, a major strategic project linking the iron deposit of Gara Djebilet (wilaya of Tindouf) to the town of Béchar.
The line extends over 950 km. It allows ore to be transported north for processing, while ensuring the transport of passengers and goods at speeds of up to 160 km/h for passengers.
