Casbah of Algiers
The casbah of Algiers, commonly called the Casbah (in Arabic: القصبة, Al-qaṣabah?, "the citadel") corresponds to the old town or medina of Algiers, capital of Algeria, of which it forms a historic district listed as a UNESCO world heritage site since 1992. Administratively, it is located in the commune of Casbah, within the wilaya from Algiers.
