Congress of Arab Doctors, in Algiers
2nd Congress of Arab Doctors
From July 29 to August 2, the 2nd Congress of Arab Doctors is being organized in Algiers with the participation of nearly 99 doctors and professors of medicine.
The official inauguration of this meeting will be carried out by MM. Mohamed Nekkache, Minister of Health, Saïd Mohammedi, Minister of Former Mujahideen and War Victims, and Dr Ali Hussein Chaâbane, Secretary General of the Union of Arab Doctors.
The dean of the Mixed Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Algiers, Professor Mohamed Aouchiche, will speak to close the inauguration session. The organization of this congress is also a tribute to this medical organization.
In the program planned by the Algiers congress, around forty communications will be devoted to cancer, tuberculosis, diseases of the digestive tract, hydatid cysts, etc.
On the sidelines of this congress, the Mustapha Pasha University Hospital Center will host round tables on rural medicine, medical assistance and medical teaching. Likewise, a tribute is planned to the memory of the twenty Algerian doctors who fell on the field of honor during the War of National Liberation.
The previous congress was held in Baghdad, Iraq.
