These paintings adorn the walls of cave shelters spread across the vast desert of the Tassili N’Ajjer plateau, in southern Algeria.
Oued Djerrat, Jabbaren, Tissoukal, In Intimien, among others, are the richest regions. They constitute a real open-air museum.
