Flora
White mugwort Artemisia herba alba (Arabic: chih)
From the Compositae family, white mugwort is a very branched bush.
Its stems are numerous, tomentose and measure 30 to 50 cm high.
Usually fragrant, the leaves are short, generally pubescent and silvery in appearance.
A steppe plant, it is very abundant on the High Plateaux and rarer in the northern Sahara.
The tops have anthelmintic properties.
