Sidi Abderrahmane El Taalibi Mosque (Algiers) before 1830
The Sidi Abderrahmane mosque was built in 1696, next to the tomb of Sidi Abderrahmane Al Thaâlibi, a distinguished man of faith considered the city's saint, who died in 1471.
The mosque also houses the tomb of Sidi Ouali Dadda.
It is frequented by men and women who come to seek the blessing of Sidi Abderrahmane.
