The Mustapha Pacha valley in Algiers extended from the Mustapha Pacha villa to the source and the Hamma fountain, passing through the palace of the Janissaries.
It was a vast green space with a breathtaking view of old Algiers and the Casbah and which was frequented by the janissaries, traveling to and from the fort of El Harrach, and by the peasants who took their products to the markets of Algiers.
