The guimber, a three-stringed instrument, is made up of a wooden body in the shape of a half-pear with a round neck.
He was part of popular orchestras in western Algerian cities such as Tlemcen and Nedroma and sometimes even in Algiers.
Unfortunately, more complete instruments have definitively supplanted it and it almost no longer appears in so-called popular groups.
