Weavings from El Oued
They have a composition very similar to Kabylie fabrics. The white background of the woven piece is simply divided into colored strips perpendicular to the edges or, added to this division, another into longitudinal zones formed by two wide red borders separated by the central strip of white background.
In the Tinerkouk hangings, rectangles of very dark color, sometimes black, stand out against the white center.
In the so-called doukala weavings of the Touat and Gourara oases, cotton wool is combined.
