Sand Cat Felis margarita

It is a small cat with a broad face and large ears. The coat is almost uniformly reddish-buff, darker on the back.
Blackish rings are clearly visible on the tail. This nocturnal species inhabits the Sahara. It digs burrows near the bushes.
Its food consists mainly of rodents, hares and birds.
