Company autonomy constitutes a central element of the economic reform carried out by the Algerian public authorities. This vast movement to reorganize the national economy is based on the distinction and coherent articulation between the attributes of the State as a public power and its prerogatives in its capacity as the main shareholder or owner of public enterprises constituting the national economic fabric.
By making the company more responsible for achieving its objectives and giving it the initiative in management, the autonomy of the company essentially aims to free the creative and productive capacities of the company from any interference and administrative constraints.
In this vision of revitalizing public companies, a legal and legal framework has been put in place to offer all the conditions for success to new entities and particularly for the redevelopment and creation of an appropriate environment capable of meeting the new expectations of companies and their obligations.
This is how the legal forms, economic functions, relationships with planning, responsibilities towards the State and the national community have been the subject of several laws adopted by the National People's Assembly and are now part of the fundamental references for all public economic enterprises.
This clarification of missions and statutes will, in the future, be the preferred basis for the company's actions intended to improve the use of the human and material resources at its disposal, but also its contribution to the economic and social development of the country.
