Algeria is on the eve of an important electoral meeting; the country's supreme judiciary, Algerians of voting age, will go to the polls to fulfill their electoral duty and thus choose their president. This electoral stage, marked by the pluralism of the candidates and their programs, is another step in the rooting of democracy in Algerian society. This April 17, 2014, 22,418,678 voters are called to express themselves in a sovereign manner, in a spirit of respect and serenity, and to elect for the five years to come, the President of the nation of the Algerian Democratic and Popular Republic built according to the principles and values of November 1954.
