Rural Electrification
Electricity undoubtedly occupies a prominent place among the factors of development and progress in the contemporary world. In our country, the effort to electrify and expand the electricity distribution and production network has been considerable since independence. Significant investments were made to bring electricity wherever industrial, economic and social needs required it. Men, techniques and financial resources have been mobilized on a permanent and increasing basis to accelerate the country's electrical network and allow entire regions to benefit from all the amenities and utilities provided by electrical energy. The social and cultural benefits, as well as the opportunities offered by a sustained electrification policy, no longer need to be demonstrated. In this regard, changes in the lifestyles and communication of citizens, cities and villages are at more than satisfactory levels. Despite the progress made, the country's electrification will have to achieve new performances in the years to come to keep up with the evolution of national demand and the growth of the country's industrial and domestic needs. Whether it concerns means of production, transport networks, distribution networks, connection to new customers or technical studies, public authorities will initiate vast programs to promote this precious energy that is electricity. This is a desire that continues to materialize throughout the national territory, contributing to the promotion and well-being of citizens.
